You Can’t Be That Blind

In case you missed it,  an article in yesterday’s Enterprise reported the following about the guy who dumped gas on the three bank tellers  as he tried to rob their bank click here.

The trial’s lead witness, Linda J. Harrison, identified Gantt as the man who sprayed one or two other tellers with the gasoline and “said he was going to kill us all and burn the bank down.”

During cross-examination, Gantt asked her, “Was there a conspiracy for the bank tellers to rob your own bank and burn the bank down?”

“No,” Harrison replied.

Gantt asked the witness how the jurors could know that she didn’t put the $40,000 in her purse.

“Because you were caught with it,” she replied.
This is the same Adam Henry about whom Judge Clarke Raley previously said “I think he should be hung.  Go get me a rope.”    click here.   What’s truly sad is that all this time and money was wasted retrying this case because of some b.s. technicality and the NAACP now has a problem with Clarke saying what he said.   Find myself agreeing with our States Attorney Ricky Fritz: “Anytime you threaten to set a bunch of women on fire, back in the old days, upon conviction, the sheriff would have promptly taken you outside and hung you,” Fritz said, and he described the NAACP complaint against the judge as “political correctness run amok…”

Too bad it wasn’t Buzzy’s he was trying to rob.  This “problem” would have been solved long ago.
