When it comes to Christmas cards, I always favor the ones with a picture on them. (Click here for WSJ article on the popularity of photo cards.) Hence, I liked my Cousin Lorraine’s card with a photo of her and husband Teefey on it. Teefey turned 80 earlier this month and by doing so established a new goal for me: to appear on a Christmas card when I turn 80!
My favorite Teefey story is the one where you ask him how’s he doing. Teefey will tell you, “Pretty good. Every day I get up, start the coffee, go out and get the newspaper. I check the obituaries first to see if my picture is in there. If it’s not, then I have my coffee.”
