The drive south from Oahu’s North Shore along the coast down to Kaneohe Bay is one of the most scenic I’ve ever driven. I like driving it even more so than Maui’s more famous Road to Hana. (RTH is too winding, too narrow plus I had to pay attention when driving it. Ridge boys like to roll and not have to concentrate on driving. First couple of RTH turns, you see these picturesque little waterfalls and it is very impressive. However, it is then the exact same curve and waterfall over and over for 30 some miles. It gets old quick.)
One of many impressive sights along the Oahu coastline drive is an island (click here) known as Chinaman’s Hat (video below.) It is so named because of its shape. Ryan took this picture of Brady (left) posing in front of it as they tooled around the island.
They later stopped for lunch at Kahuku Grill (below.)
