St. Mary’s College starts its River Concert series tonite. For info click here. Note that in the “Festival Information” portion of the website, they have designated certain seating sections at the concert as being for “Serious Listeners” “Casual Listeners” and “Serious Socializing.” Sad that they had to do this, but I’m sure that the “serious listeners” complained enough that it was done to placate them. Merely another reason why this Concert Series probably won’t be around much longer not only due to funding issues but also because of elitist crap like this. Hey, if you consider yourself to be a “serious listener” then come off some coin and go to the Kennedy Center for your classical music fix! As always, Chuck said it best:
