Down day yesterday. Orioles loss on Wednesday night was a real downer. So I was semi-bluesed out to begin with. On top of that, yesterday was Buzzy’s birthday. I thought of him off and on all day. I visited his gravesite and then did the Thirsty Thursday duties at the Store. He was on my mind even more so than usual. Being at the Store every day, I am reminded of him at every turn.
Somewhere along the line, Brian Barnhill and I were talking music when this tune came on. It immediately changed my mood. Don’t know why but it did. (The version Brian and I heard was by Guns n Roses but this Nazareth take on it has a good video with it. And Buzzy was a pilot after all.)
