Beer and Wine

Giving you some early heads up on this so you can plan your weekend to come.  Historic St. Mary’s City will be sponsoring its 3rd Annual Beer Fest this coming Saturday 22 June.  They’ve set up a nice website here with details for you.  
And for all you craft beer fans, I have found a good beer blog site by Doug Pfeffer My Journey Through Beer.  Doug travels the country sampling beers and attending festivals.  He did a review of a Maryland craft beer Flying Dog Raging Bitch which is one of the beers being featured at the St.Mary’s City Beer Fest (click here.)  When you attend the Beer Fest this Saturday, be sure to check this bitch, er make that beer out.   

Flying Dog label designer is cartoonist Ralph Steadman who did the artwork accompanying Hunter S. Thompson’s works.  While the Flying Dog Raging Bitch label has caused it to be banned in some states, Steadman has another controversial label for the wine “Cardinal Zin” which was also banned in some states.   

May have to see about stocking both of these in Buzzy’s Fine Wine and Craft Beer sections of the Store.
