Just the other day, someone asked me “You still got the dog?” After I responded “Yes,” she turned to her son and said “I remember being your age and coming into this Store and them having this big dog.”
This scene plays out quite frequently in Buzzy’s Country Store, particularly in summer time when tourists and campers are down visiting at Pt. Lookout State Park. Having run the Store six years now, it still makes me smile whenever folks come into the Store and mention Bruno and their first time encountering a St. Bernard in Buzzy’s.
