Remember some time back I mentioned Mazerine Wingate who at 101 was still working at the Post Office (click here.) Sad to report that he’s now gone to join that Number One Postmaster in the Sky as he passed away last week (click here for story/obit.)
As I mentioned in the post on Mazerine, it was Marcia Raley who first told me about him. Marcia made this Friday’s Enterprise when John Wharton wrote about her cell phone account being hacked (click here.) Greg Madjeski also recently experienced some hacking into his cell phone account so Jumping Jack Flash-wise “Watch it.”
Speaking of Greg, he starts his daily Smith Island tours today leaving Pt. Lookout at 10:30. Reservations are not needed so if you want to join at the last minute it is no problem. Also today in South County, there’s the auction at St. Michael’s School, Charlie Pulliam’s Life Celebration and a little Country Store in Scotland with a cold beer for you.
