This Bud’s for You

Liz and Mike from St. Louis, Missouri have been staying in one of Peggy’s rentals the past couple weeks vacationing and touching base with their daughter Meredith who works in D.C.  Over the 4th of July holiday last weekend, their friend Karen visited them and turns out that she works for Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis.  Of course, we discussed the 10 ounce Bud phenomena and I played the NPR story for them. Then just yesterday I received  from Karen at One Busch Place in St. Louis a Fed Ex package containing several Budweiser items.  She wrote “Thanks for doing such a remarkable job at embracing our brand and for running such a unique spot to stop and enjoy a nice cold beer.”   How’s that for some positive feedback!  Thank you Karen.  (Only problem is that I have to keep these items hidden, else everyone will be asking for them.)
