Here’s a Saturday two-fer for you. Head early to Pt. Lookout State Park and tour the Lighthouse when it opens at 10:00. Don’t let any of the ghosts there slow you down however, because you then want to be over at the Park’s boat ramp to catch Capt Greg Madjeski’s boat tour of Smith Island. Boat leaves at 10:30. Little tight schedule-wise, but you can do both if you hustle.
After the tours, plan on relaxing and unwinding at a little country store in the area. No ghosts, no seven layer cake, but lots of cold beer and good company.
