Every Picture Tells a Story Don’t It?!

Re: the Buzzy Christmas party set for Friday, 20 December, here are a couple photo’s from last year’s Buzzy Christmas party.

This first one of Grand daughter Lily and about-to-be Daughter-in-Law Catie Bowes has an interesting story behind it.  Catie tells me that after I took this picture of them, Lily turned and very pointedly asked her “Are you going to marry my Uncle B?”  Catie said that since it was her and Brady’s first date, she didn’t know what to say.  

However with Catie and Brady now engaged and planning their wedding for next spring, it just makes me wonder – how did Lily know?

Then there’s this photo from last year’s Buzzy Christmas party.

Lots going on in this photo taken by Linda. Robbie Hall, Bruce Price and Herbie McKay are reacting to something that was said.  Judging from the faraway look on Herbie’s face,  either he didn’t appreciate nor completely hear what was said.  In background are Tony Mannich and Tracey Grimes, Robby’s girlfriend.  Make note also of the photo’s right background with beer cooler photos of  Pat Guy and Buzzy along with Brother Mike Rollins in their roles as guardians of the cooler. (The sign above Mike is cropped a bit; it should read “I killed a six pack just to watch it die.”

Another 2012 Buzzy Christmas Party photo has an ironic, twist-of-a-knee fate back story.  Here’s a good photo of Redskin fans Craig Adkins and Cheryl Krumpke.  This time last year they, like all Redskin fans, were full of hope and excitement about the Burgundy and Gold boys and their playoff future.  Things sure have changed this year however.

To end on a positive note though, here’s a nice photo of the above mentioned Linda and her sister Joan.  This is may be the best back story of them all – a nice picture of two nice ladies who just happen to be sisters.
