Still trying to see all of the nominated Academy Awards movies and Nebraska is very good. Maybe a little slow but very well done. If you’re looking for movie sex, drugs and rock n roll, go see American Hustle or Wall Street. But if you want a nice story with some very real, or maybe that should be some very “unreal” characters, then go see Nebraska.
Bruce Dern as Woody is excellent of course and has been nominated for Best Actor. However, June Squibb, the actress who plays Woody’s wife, was also great. This scene shown here is just a snippet of how funny she is in the movie.
