Shouldn't They All Look Alike?

Wife Pam was in CVS yesterday having a prescription filled and was told that it would be a two hour wait.  When she asked why so long, the pharmacist told her that anytime snow is forecasted, folks rush in there to get their prescriptions refilled.  Wonder what today will be like.
When Doug Hill lived just up the beach here in Piney Point on Lighthouse Road,  and he was out and about at the Post Office or one of the locals stores, people would always ask him “Hey Doug, what’s the weather gonna be?”  (Would imagine that for any weatherman, that is the universal greeting for them.)  Doug would smile and reply to them “The only thing I can assure you is that we will have weather.” 

Speaking of universal however, I have a minor pet peeve with these weather forecasters though that has to do with the variation in their color schemes.  When it comes to forecasting for rain, ice, sleet or snow, seems like these weather folks are all over the color map so to speak.  Shouldn’t all these be standardized?  Then again, we wouldn’t need a weatherman like the one below to explain it to us would we?
