| At Least I Got Winkie Right (who else could it be?) |
Remember my “Old Photo” post last week (above?) Well, thanks to eagle eyed Duncan Lepper I learned that I have two folks misidentified in the photo.
I had identified the guy next to Winkie as Dickie Wood when in fact it is/was Chris McKay.
But my bigger mistake was in identifying the fella behind Chris as Buzzy when it really was Edelen “Swoop” Morgan. Funny thing is, when I was identifying Edelen as Buzzy I thought at the time that he looked too small to be Buzzy at that point in his life. I thought “Gee I didn’t think Buzzy was that small back then.” (Later on in years Buzzy would lose some weight and become smaller in stature but back then he was bigger.) So, my thanks to Duncan for helping clear all this up. Chrispy and Swoop – sounds like a KFC ad campaign doesn’t it?
