In addition to discovering that soccer is not that bad a sport to watch, another revelation for me involved my wardrobe – or maybe that should read my lack of wardrobe.
When the USA was preparing to take on Germany last week, I invited some folks down to Buzzy’s Country Store to watch the game. I then went thru my Buzzy polo shirts arrayed next to my Hawaiian shirts which are next to my best T-shirt collection looking for a red white and blue shirt to wear. However I couldn’t find any in my not-so-vast shirt collection. Technically, I guess it is semi-illegal to wear a flag as clothing. I may have to get one just to test the theory “if water were illegal think how good it would taste.” Maybe I’ll ask John Wayne (below) where he got his.
