Ah yes, October is here with great weather, lots of festivals and parties, and Halloween at the end of it. If I had to rank the months of the year, October may just be my favorite.
Buzzy Birthdays this month include Connie Adkins and Sister Lila celebrating theirs on 1 October, Kim Wiley 2 October, Charlie Simms on the 8th, Doug Byrne the 9th, Robby Norris 12th, Chief Larry 15th, Joey Porter 17th, Connie Lynch 25th, David Norris 28th, Winky the 29th, Ned Pratt and Bruce Price on the 31st.
For Robby Norris, he’s starting his celebration on Saturday night the 11th at Buzzy’s Country Store. Since the 11th was Buzzy’s birthday too and he would have been 90 if he were still here behind the counter, we’ll do some Black Velvet shooters to commemorate that and Brother Robby hitting a birthday starting with a six. (And no we’re not talking him turning SIXteen either!)
