Here is a good listing of Dave’s Top Ten Guests even if it does have Regis Philbin on it. Bill Murray, at Number 2 on this list, will be one of Dave’s last guests. This is a full-circle-appearance in that Murray was Dave’s first guest back in 1982. Lot of water under that bridge.
In addition to Dave’s wit and snarkiness, his show always featured beautiful women
dressed up and looking good as shown in this video below. (I’m still waiting for the right opportunity to use that “When you hugged me like that I think my carrot moved” line he laid on Julia at the 1:35 mark. Easy to see how and why she made his top ten repeat list.)
