This past Sunday’s 60 Minutes interview of Steve Carell was a good one as it reviewed his background and career. You can watch it by going to this link. (They’re going to make you watch a commercial which, when I viewed it, was for Viagra featuring a hot babe slinking around a beach house. It was pleasantly watchable in a soft porn kind of way and if you’d care to see it click here. Like one of the commentators noted, not so sure that I’d need Viagra if I had the likes of her prowling around my beach house.)

But for me, the Now-he-really-has-my-respect-moment occurred when interviewer Steve Croft visited Carell’s country store. (Scroll over to the 9:45 mark above the o in Autoplay to see that portion of the interview.) Carell refers to his store as a “gathering place where people can come and hang out because there aren’t that many places like that around anymore.” You go Steve!
His store’s website is a little slack so Steve may want to have Dwight (below) work on it some more but you can visit it by clicking here. Also, I found this little video on one of their wine tastings.
