The American Legion sign with its erroneous temperature from the other day reminded me of some other “incorrect” signs that have caught my attention. First up is one I saw on someone’s FB page:

And re: signs with spelling concerns, remember this one I posted awhile back?
Here is one that has cropped up at the 235/5 intersection and also at the 235 end of
489:
Not sure if this is an advertisement or if it is a protest sign but do know that insurance works better when it has an a.
Spelling/temperature-wise, this local sign in South County is just fine.
However, I have a problem with where it is located. I travel Route 249, go south on 5, cut across 489 and continue down 235 to Buzzy’s Country Store each day. Guess where this sign is located. Downtown Great Mills where the St. Mary’s River often overflows onto Rt. 5? No. Between Willows and Hermanville Roads where they are replacing the old bridge there? No. Neither of these spots has any Flood warning signs, but this one is on the Park Hall end of 489. So go figure.
Little different take here on Albert King’s Born Under a Bad Sign song by Nina Simone. After some weird pics of tats and Hispanic-related hand signs, the video features Betty Page who in her time was quite the hot patootie. (I used to work with a Betty Page at NAS Supply Department but she didn’t look anything like this Bettie.)
