Nothing like the prediction of an ass kicking snow storm to get everybody all shook up. In Buzzy’s Country Store, and everywhere else for that matter, the talk has shifted this week from Powerball to snowfall. And just as everyone had something to say about what they would do if they won the Powerball, suddenly everyone is a weather man. Heard in Buzzy’s are things like:
“I stick with the European model, because they seem like they get it right more so than those other ones. Kind of sad that the Europeans know more about our weather than we do.”
“Something else to blame on Obama and all his global warming bullshit.”
“Doug Hill says we’re in for one of the 3 worst storms ever.”
“The squirrels and birds are all going bat shit crazy. They know something really bad is coming.”
“It’s so cold, I saw a politician with his hand in his own pockets.” (This wasn’t actually repeated in Buzzy’s, I just threw that one in there.)
So wrt to the first quote about all the various weather models, I went looking and found a good summary at this link (click here.)
In a case of call it graphic irony, some of the models predicting bad things are kind of artistic and nice looking:
Some bring back memories of some old LSD trips:
Some leave you with no clue as to what they are trying to tell you:
And some look just plain pornographic (which probably in a way may be the most accurate one of all in that it shows we are all about to get – well you know.)
I think RHCP were talking about weather-related snow here in their video, but as with all these weather models, I’m not 100% sure about anything.
