Never knew, until I heard it on the radio following her death, that Nancy Reagan spent some of her formative years growing up in Maryland. Consequently, she actually went up a little bit in my opinion. (Note: that’s not saying a whole lot because she wasn’t very far up my opinion ladder to begin with.)

Got me wondering about the overall topic of Famous Marylanders. So I did that internet search thing and was surprised after landing on this Bing.com summary, that I only recognized Thurgood, Tom and Anne. (Others shown below are Enoch Pratt, Sheila Dixon, Travis Pastrana, Barry Levinson, David Hasselhoff and a clock. The clock was in the photo depicting Clara Barton someone else I didn’t know was from Maryland.)

Of course, my personal list of famous Marylanders would include Cal Ripken, Frank Zappa, Danny Gatton, and Edelen Morgan. (Threw ol’ Swoop in there just to see if you were paying attention.)
