Looking thru some old photo’s (early 50’s) I noticed that the phone booth was not present in some of them. For instance, here is one of my brother Steve taken in 1955. No phone booth. It got me wondering just when the phone booth was installed.
Best I could narrow it down to is sometime between 55 and 57. Here is a photo of Buzzy out in front of the Store in 1957. You can see the phone booth in the left side of the photo.
Then here are Ryan and Brady posing in the phone booth in the late 80’s.
Sometime after this photo was taken, Buzzy had Mike Fenhagen build the deck alongside the porch. The old phone booth was history.
