| Not a Good Logo When You Have to State What’s Being Depicted |
OK, so there is that Columbus Day holiday coming up here in October but don’t forget too about the really big day that goes down this month on the 15th – Global Hand Washing Day (click here.) I know I can’t wait. In fact, on the 15th, in honor of GHWD, Buzzy’s Country Store will feature free hand washing as in no charge to wash your hands. Really! Come wash your hands and use Buzzy’s hand soap and water free of charge to help celebrate Global Hand Washing Day. (Makes me wonder if days honoring the washing of other parts of the body will be next!)
Birthday-wise for October, Charlie Simms turns 90 on the 8th and we are planning something for him at the Store on that day. So come on down and wish Charlie Happy Birthday. Other celebrants in October include Connie Adkins and my Sister Lila Hofmeister celebrating theirs’ on 1 October. Kim Wiley on 2 October, Mark Dominiak 7 Oct, Doug Byrne on the 9th, Robby Norris 12th, Chief Larry 15th, Joey Porter 17th, Connie Lynch 25th, David Norris 28th, Winky the 29th, Ned Pratt and Bruce Price on the 31st.
