When it comes to Senate confirmation hearings, does anyone else besides me think that they are just a huge waste of time. (Funny isn’t it how the word huge is now being written huuge? Guess I need to get with the program.)
Then again every once in awhile something worthwhile pops up in one of these wastes of tax payer dollars. Senator Al Franken, who is a genuine comedian Senator as opposed to all of the wanna-be-comedians in the Senate, obviously forgot that old lawyer admonition about never asking a question that you don’t know the answer to when he addressed Rick Perry:
Perry should be confirmed just based on that answer alone.
