Henrietta

Speaking of mysteries (previous post) here is one for you about the County’s most famous unsolved murder.  

I mentioned awhile back that Kennedy Abell and Al Gough visited Buzzy’s Country Store one afternoon and were reminiscing about a number of topics.  One of the subjects they mentioned  included the 1959 unsolved murder of Leonardtown’s Henrietta Ragan.  

Kennedy discussed how he was working at the bank where Henrietta had stopped earlier the night she was murdered.  Thru the years the Enterprise has featured several articles on the unsolved murder including this one from 1970 (click here.  Kennedy’s interaction with Henrietta at the County Trust Bank before her death is mentioned about mid way thru the article.)
