Riddle Me This

Each year Dee Duffy gives me a Jeff Foxworthy’s You Might Be a Redneck If calendar.   For the most part the daily jokes are kinda silly focusing on burps, beer, pickup trucks, NASCAR etc..  However, every so often one will appear that hits a little too close to home – literally!  For example here is one that appeared the other day “You Might be a redneck if directions to your house include “Turn off the paved road.””

In addition to carrying it’s thought of the day concerning redneckery, the calendar also includes a daily riddle.  Here are a few that appeared recently: (Answers are below.)

What goes around the world but stays in the corner?

You throw away the outside and then cook the inside.

You then eat the outside and throw away the inside.
What did you eat?

That reminded me of this old riddle I heard somewhere in my travels:

Who makes it and has no need for it?

Who buys it and has no use it?
Who uses it but can’t see nor feel it?
What is it?

Jackson Browne supposedly wrote this song based upon his friendship with Gregg Allman (click here.)
