The general consensus is that the 2018 Buzzy Christmas Party was a great one. I felt that way too but it was nice to hear from several folks in the Store yesterday as well to receive several texts and phone calls from folks all saying the same thing. The Buzzy rule “There has never been a bad party when there was plenty to eat and drink” proved true once again.
However, in addition to there being plenty of food and drink available, there was a very nice vibe in the Store Saturday night. Lots of laughter, everyone enjoying themselves and overall a great time. I can’t really define what makes a great party great but as with that porno quote – “I know it when I see it.”
My thanks to all of you for coming down on such a crummy night. My thanks too for all the great food that everyone brought. It always amazes me at the variety, quantity and quality of what gets set out at the Buzzy Christmas party. Thank you all for such great dishes of food. In particular my thanks to Nancy Barber and Jimmy and Mary Lou Cullison for all of their work on preparing the oysters. What other Christmas party do you attend where you get fried oysters AND Oysters Rockefeller Cajun style?!

Leave it to Weird Al to come up with this violent little Christmas gem. Can’t believe that it’s not played more often than it this. After all, guns are the reason for the season right?
