OK, so you don’t visit the Buzzyblog for financial news and updates. I get that. However, allow me this one diversion for today and I promise to return to the usual mish mash of booze, music and b.s. tomorrow.
Today marks the anniversary of the Euro’s arrival on the scene. 
To read additional info on the introduction of the Euro click here. And in case you are wondering, today’s Euro is equal to 1.14 U.S. dollars right about where it was when first introduced in 1999. That rate has bounced around alot due to various factors such as Brexit repercussions and the Trumpster’s messing with tariffs (click here.)
