As we roll into summer, tourists begin visiting Buzzy’s Country Store to check things out, maybe even buy some stuff and to use the bathroom. Regarding this last item, visitors will invariably comment on the Zappa poster installed there (see previous post on this.)

Some of them will tell me that they took a photo of it. Others ask where I got it. And a few will relay their stories about either having had the poster on their college dorm wall or some other Zappa-related anecdote.
I found this Zappa interview below with Letterman from back in 1983. It was a timely find for me because just last week John Carbone’s son John was in Buzzys Country Store and he talked about having had the London Symphony Orchestra play on their Mike and the Moonpies recording at Abbey Road Studios.
