When Mick first sang this tune in 1965 he noted that the rinsed-out blonde beside him at the bar “was common, flirty, she looked about thirty.” Note here (below) how he modified that lyric in 1995 (2:15 mark) to say “she was nifty, thrifty, she looked about fifty.” Wonder what he, at age 76, would sing today: “she was crazy, weighty, she looked about eighty.”
