It was just maybe the best Buzzy Christmas Party yet! (At least the best one during my 12 year tenure at Buzzy U.) Big thanks to everyone who dropped in and helped make the party such a fun event.
Thanks also to everyone who brought such great foodstuffs for the Buzzy party tables. I added more tables this year to try and better accommodate all the dishes and trays of food that folks bring to the party.
In particular, my thanks to all of the Buzzy oyster chefs: Mary Lou and Jimmy Cullison, Mike Fenhagen, Brian Barnhill, John Carbone, Kevin and Jennifer Adkins, Clyde Ridgell, Ethan Davis and my daughter-in-law Stephanie for all of their efforts in helping to prepare, cook and serve up the many varieties of oysters that we had on hand.

Also thank you to my Buzzy neighbors Valerie and Nick Collentro who helped their one month old daughter Cheyenne light the Buzzy Christmas Tree and Bruno the Lawn Dog. Each year I try to have the youngest person at the party light the tree. This year Cheyenne did the honors even if it didn’t appear to have impressed her much to be so honored.

Also my thanks to Rita Cole for bringing the cool centerpiece that she made for the event. As far as I know, this was the first centerpiece ever at a Buzzy Christmas party. (I think Buzzy once had an inflatable love doll bouncing around one year but that doesn’t count as the kind of centerpiece I’m talking about!) Here is a photo of Rita’s creation for this year’s party.

A different sort of Christmas tune and video here for you. The song rocks and the video is on the clever side, so enjoy.
