Trump and Melania made it to the Taj Mahal in India a few weeks back. (This was the Taj that he did not bankrupt (click here for that story on how he went bankrupt running a casino.)

Buzzy and I checked the Taj out back in October of 2000. Here we are with the rest of our tour group. (You shouldn’t have too much trouble picking us out with the white socks, shorts and ball caps.)
Following his comments, our tour guide then suggested that we start our walk around the structure. As he explained the Hindu custom of walking clockwise around their sacred sites, Buzzy interrupted him to ask “Did you say that it was symmetrical?” The tour guide confirmed that it was and Buzzy replied “OK, I’ll meet you all back here.”
Linda, (above in the brown printed shirt) had become Buzzy’s drinking friend through the course of our trip and as we walked around the Taj she fell in stride with me. She said that she could not believe that Buzzy would have come all this way around the world to see the Taj and then not walk around it. I told her that he was a bottom line kind of guy and if the Taj really was symmetrical, then he figured that if you see one side of it, then you’ve seen ’em all. I took this photo of him waiting on a nearby bench when Linda and I returned from our walk around the Taj.
Here is another photo I took of him in front of the Taj when we first arrived there. (Unlike the Trumps’ visit where all the other tourists were banned while they were there, we were with a bunch of other folks and visitors.)
