I’m Taking the Time For a Number of Things……

Another point that Boswell made in his Habits column (yesterday’s post) had to with how writing helps him to sort things out in his mind.  Here is what he had to say:

The Buzzyblog does this for me too in that it keeps me focused on the Store, its activities, and  my many friends and folks who drop in to visit Buzzy’s.  In doing so, as Bos suggest, it helps me to puzzle things out.

And while I try to keep the Buzzyblog focus on the Store and things happening there, as you are well aware I will sometimes let rip a rant here or there and occasionally go personal on you.  I overheard someone once describe the Buzzyblog as “being kind of like J. Scott’s diary.”  Trust me, that is not what I am aiming for here on the blog as my diary would be a whole lot more darker and snarkier.  I’m not sure you’d want to read that.

All that said however, I think I miss writing about the Store and its activities a little bit more than I miss actually going there everyday to open it up.  Not running Buzzy’s is something that I have never considered previously, but now find myself at least thinking about what it would be like to not have it to worry about it constantly.  In fact, the longer that the Store is closed, the more I am getting used to and enjoying not having to worry about it so much.

Guess that I may have to write some more on that matter just to see where I land on this new insight.  Thank you Bos for that insight on insights.

You Beatles’ fans will have picked up on the title above as being a line from their Fixing a Hole song.   That tuned finished #150 on this ranking of all their songs (click here.)
