A recent Washington Post article asked folks to sum up the year 2020 with just one word (click here.) Exhausting, lost and chaotic seemed to be the 3 most popular answers. My three would be more along the lines strange, crazy and weird. (Note no profanities from me. I’m starting my New Year’s resolution early to try and not swear so much. See above meme as an example how well I’m doing on this.)
The Post article also asked folks what they were hopeful for in the year ahead. Here are a couple responses that I thought were worth passing along:
As I was reading this Post article and thinking about maybe incorporating it here on the Buzzyblog, the following tune played on my CD player. I had it on random play but believe that I was supposed to hear it when I did. “Sing me a song that I will always be in” has a nice ring to it wouldn’t you say? Maybe that is something to be hopeful for in 2021. (Be sure to catch the sax solo at the 4:00 mark. That guy should have gotten a little more screen time for his efforts!)
