April's Wasteland

In writing about the month of April the other day, I started to quote the opening line from the T.S. Eliot’s poem The Wasteland:  “April is the cruelest month.”  However, I was discussing Buzzy birthdays in the month of April and didn’t want to bring everyone down talking about an over-the-top poem that doesn’t make any sense unless someone explains it to you.

However, it did make me curious about the rest of the poem.  Here is the beginning of The Wasteland:
