Thanks for sticking with the Buzzyblog “Historic Road Show” here the last three days. (Full disclosure – I have been away for a couple days this week and used the down time to pass along some idle thoughts on various roads that I drive by and traverse on a daily basis.) Today, it is back to the Store and along with that some photos so you do not have to do too much reading.

In honor of Lee Carroll’s June 17th birthday several of his friends and running mates, including Dictator Cullison, stopped by Buzzy’s to wish him a happy one:
Speaking of birthdays, Granddaughter Marley turned two on 30 June. (Where does that thar time go?) Here she is at her birthday party with her Dad Brady.
And for my Alfred Hitchcock moment, here is Marley a few days previously with her Old Granddad.

If I were to title these next two photo’s, I’d have to say “Fresh Pond Neck Ladies” (even if it meant explaining that by that I meant “Fresh Pond Neck Road Ladies.”)
The occasion above was a little get together Marcia (and her family) had at the Store in memory of her husband Dave who passed away on 28 June. A memorial celebration for Dave, aka Clutch, is planned for 23 July at the Ridge American Legion.
And another passing recently was Billy Jim Ridgell (click here) who passed away on 2 July. There will be a Memorial Service for him today at Mary’s Hope 2 – 5. He is shown here in this Buzzy photo with Sterling Kelly and his dad Judge Ridgell. Good photo of the three of them, even if photographer Buzzy made the truck the center of attention. ABA Buzzy – always be advertising!
