Happy Whatever It Is Day

Even before I started running Buzzy’s, I was always comfortable dealing with bipolar people and situations. I don’t know how or why that came to be, but thru the years it has been something in my tool kit that has served me well.

Thus, with today’s holiday having this whole dual identity thing going on, I kind of like it. Whereas others may be confused or curious about all this, I am good with having a choice of just what it is that we recognize and celebrate today – Columbus and/or the Indigenous. (Note, it is also National Moldy Cheese Day but I’ll let that ride and focus for now on the two biggies of C and I.)

This from some guy named Joe:

But then we also have Indigenous People being celebrated today:

Sister Gregory prompts me to inquire why it is called Peoples’ Day, when the word people is already plural? Just asking.

Regardless of what today is or isn’t called, Buzzy’s Country Store is open today. Come and celebrate as you see fit to do so. I may even have some moldy cheese for you to nibble on.

And speaking of Joe:
