Music-wise, I was surprised to see that ? and the Mysterians made this list of “Two Hit Wonders” (click here). I had always thought that they were One Hit Wonders with “96 Tears” being their sole hit. However, their followup to 96 Tears managed to make it to #22 on the charts. (Note that I still miss tunes featuring the organ. And no, just for all you dirty-minded folks, I am not trying to end on an “up note” here. But then again, maybe I am! Just for today, I’ll take my twofers where I find them.)
