Buzzy Christmas Party is set for this Saturday night and while I am feeling good about it, the thought did cross my mind “Why not have an anti-Christmas party.” Dim the lights, play some Black Sabbath and instead of wishing folks Merry Christmas, we will wish each other a very Merry-Go-to-Hell and the horse you rode in on! As part of a growing trend, let’s have an Anti-Christmas Party and get our dark side on starting with the following not-so Christmasy “Happy Poe-l” card:
As for watching all those schmaltzy Christmas movies, at Buzzy’s we’ll be previewing the soon-to-be classic “Violent Night:” Great movie featuring an abundance of gun violence, shootings and murders. In other words, it is just like every other night in American cities only with a Christmas theme.
And lest we forget, we will pause to toast and remember just why we celebrate like we do what originated as a pagan celebration (click here.)
And of course, we stay away from all those sappy Christmas songs and opt instead for something like this:
