Haven’t played too many Church songs here on the Buzzyblog, but always found that this one tended to calm me down and smooth things out some whenever the road of life became a little too bumpy and difficult. (My only concern with the song is in the last verse when singing about how the Angels “will bear you up in their arms, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” Having “dashed” my foot against some of those stones on more than one occasion, hope those Angels, when they head my way, are in a very forgiving mood.)
