Here is some rock and roll trivia I bet that you won’t know: name the 4 rock bands that have not had any new music in the last 30 years, yet their tunes still remain among the top downloads listened to today.
OK, so you probably got the Beatles and that is indeed one of the four bands in this select grouping. Their last original material was in 1969 before they broke up. Granted they all had successful solo careers as even Ringo managed to carve out a niche for himself with his Traveling All Star Band.

*Of the four bands, only the Police still have all of their former band mates living. Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers are all still on this side of the grass, but have some major riffs between them (click here.) Even so, I am hopeful and have my fingers crossed that a reunion of sorts may yet be in their future. And why not? Life is too short guys. Get it together and get back in the studio and/or get out on the road and play some more music for us.
You know all of the great Police tunes, but how’s about one that is not-so-good? It even made the list at Number 21 as one the most annoying tunes ever (click here.) I think the key lyric herein is “Words are hard to find.” Obviously.
