Driving home from Buzzy’s Country Store yesterday evening, I was listening to the Grant and Danny Show on 106.7 as they discussed “All Time Best Sports Fights.” (I was able just now to track that discussion down if you’d care to listen to what they had to say (click here).)

Another amazing fact about the Ryan-Ventura fight game leads me to a musical note – literally! White Sox relief pitcher Scott Radinsky threw a scoreless 8th inning in that game. Scott’s non-baseball career saw him become the lead vocalist for the punk band Pulley:
