Twofer Tuesday: Cicely and Roslyn

The T-V show Northern Exposure was set in a fictional Alaskan town named Cicely. However, the actual filming of the show took place in Roslyn, Washington.

Here are two videos for you to check out. One discusses Roslyn and the other features the centerpiece of Northern Exposure the bar/restaurant named The Brick which has been around since 1889. (For the record, Buzzy’s Country Store origins go back to1897.)

Although the T-V series did not show much live music being played at The Brick, every Friday and Saturday nights they have live music (see 1:15 mark in Brick video above.) The following is from a video filmed at The Brick some time ago.
