Note: I was saving this Buzzyblog post on Alistair Cooke’s article on Jimmy Carter’s 1976 “lust” comment for next Sunday (the 22nd) to be closer to the actual Playboy interview date of 24 September (click here.) However, nothing like the present to talk about sex (particularly since I don’t have much else to say today!)

Ah yes, the ole lust in the heart sin. Reminds me of George Carlin’s six sins’ quip about there being a sin to think about feeling up Ellen, wanting to feel up Ellen, planning to feel her up, taking her to a place to feel her up, trying to feel her up and then actually feeling her up (click here and go to the 1:05 mark.) Poor Jimmy, sounds like he only got to first base sin-wise by merely lusting in his heart. (What other part of your body do you lust with? Ok, never mind!)
