Hazel and Robbie – 70 Years On

Hurricane Hazel hit the County in mid-October 1954 with a peak wind of 112 mph recorded at NAS Pax River. I went looking for info on it and found the following in the 21 October 54 edition of the Enterprise:

But what really caught my attention in that edition of the Enterprise was an article titled Lower ‘Little Dixie’ that appeared immediately below the Hazel article. I’ve hi-lited and enlarged it here for you.
