Buzzy Christmas Party

Big thanks to all of you who made it to the Buzzy Christmas Party Saturday evening. In particular, my thanks to David Norris for coming down and playing some tunes for us.

I was a little surprised, but very pleased when David played some Christmas tunes and everyone got into the spirit of things by singing along. Nothing like a little music to make a party (and life in general) a whole lot better!

As David played “Jingle Bell Rock” and folks started to sing along to it, Cliff Montgomery (shown here in a selfie taken by his running mate Mike) noted to me “I wasn’t really into the Christmas spirit until just now. This is pretty good.” I had to agree with him!

The following photo made me smile as I thought “Jesus may have had 3 wise men show up at His gig, but the Buzzy Christmas Party had 3 Weis Women in attendance!

And as per the custom, we had the youngest attendee, my good neighbor Levi light up the Buzzy Bud Christmas tree.

Between songs, David mentioned Bobby Helms having written several great tunes including this Christmas classic. Leads me to conclude that the Buzzy Christmas party was indeed “a bright time and the right time to rock the night away!”

P.S. David agreed to a New Year’s Eve return to play some music for our Buzzy’s Dropping the 10 Ounce Bud NY Eve Party. Let’s get thru Christmas and I’ll be providing you some additional details on that.
