My friend Cliff Montgomery was in Buzzy’s Country Store yesterday discussing how he had recently used X’s AI Grok app to assist him in writing a cover letter. As he explained it, he then demo’d how the process works by taking a photo and asked Grok to create a meme for it. Here is what came back:
Not sure how classic those 3 beers may or may not be, but still, it wasn’t bad given the circumstances. (FYI, that’s Cliff’s buddy Bill in the background.)
The whole AI thing has been something I have avoided so far, but feel compelled to at least begin to begin researching. For a good, albeit scary, article on AI, there was this from Yoshua Bengio known as the Godfather of AI (click here.) It reminded me of a comment I heard somewhere “There is a whole new predator out there called AI and we are all just critters sipping water at the edge of the creek.”
