Doing some spring cleaning the other day, I came upon an old T-shirt that brought back some nice memories. It was from 2011 with today’s date of 14 May:
The Bottom County Rockfish Tournament was started and organized by Mary Lou and Jimmy Cullison as a fundraiser for Hospice of St. Mary’s. The first one was held in 2008 in memory of Bobby Demko. Buzzy was remembered in 2011 at the 4th event. I talked about it here on the Buzzyblog.
Bob turned 80 on 6 May. I am pretty sure that he won’t be forgotten doing this great tune:
