I heard this JJ Cale and Eric collaboration the other day when I had my CD player on shuffle mode and thought “What a great tune!” It is from their Road to Escondido that won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album in 2008. Whereas most blues tunes are into the bad/sad/mad thing, this one is on the upbeat and more positive side of the ledger. “It’s so easy getting thru these times, so easy, your life and mine.”
