Tomorrow the Buzzy Podcast will feature an interview with Mr. Orioles himself Keith Raley. He recently sat down with Chief Larry and me to discuss baseball in general and specifically his hobby collecting sports memorabilia. (Some of his collection can be seen in the background here:)

And speaking of diamonds as in baseball diamonds, the Number 1 song about shoes surprised me a little. When I saw the click bait headline teasing “21 Best Songs About Footwear” my first guess was that “Blue Suede Shoes” by the King had to be Number 1. However, big Yankees’ baseball fan Paul Simon took the honor with his shoe tune that bumped BSS to #2.
Check out this alternate take on “Diamonds” with Bakithi Kumalo riffing it up on bass. Think that I just may prefer this version to the original. (Bakithi gets a little air time in the original version at the 2:45 and 4:33 marks.)
